ORLANDO, Florida (June 3, 2011) – Orlando-based Sol Meliá Vacation Club (SMVC), a leading international vacation membership club with locations in the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America and Europe, has officially launched Club Meliá as its new name and brand in conjunction with the name change and rebranding of Spain-based Sol Meliá Hotels & Resorts as Meliá Hotels International. The new Club Meliá by Meliá Hotels International name, logo and website were unveiled this week to members, employees, business partners and members of the media as was done in Spain, simultaneously, for the corporate entity.
